Located in the Charnwood Borough of the county of Leicestershire, Loughborough is the second largest settlement in the county, after Leicester. The world’s largest bell foundry, John Taylor Bellfounders, is located in the area while Dishley Grange Farm is a prominent landmark on the outskirts of town. Loughborough Railway Station is a major link on the Midland Main Line, and along with regular service to London it is also a stop for the Eurostar, connecting the town to the rest of Europe. Road transport includes a number of bus, taxi and coach services while drivers can also benefit from the A6 which connects to the M1 motorway. Loughborough also offers transport over water with the River Soar connecting the southern side of town via the Grand Union Canal.
