Home to the busiest airport in the UK and the third-busiest in the world, Heathrow is part of the Borough of Hillingdon and is also the English capital’s main airport. In addition to being famous for the airport, the area is known for being close to a number of major London landmarks such as Marble Hill House (10 miles) and Strawberry Hill House (10 miles) while Garrick’s Temple to Shakespeare (9 miles) and Syon Park (8 miles) are also within easy reach. Heathrow provides convenient access to attractions such as the Musical Museum and Shirley Sherwood Gallery while Legoland Windsor and WWT London Wetland Centre are also close by.

Heathrow Central Railway Station is also a major transport link with non-stop trains from London Paddington Station. The M4 and A4 provide convenient over ground transportation access to in the area while M25 and A30 also run close to Heathrow. Taxis and buses are available in abundance, providing alternative overground transport options for those who prefer not to drive.
